Hi! I am Michelle Pletzer the Administrative Assistant.
I have been with the Diabetes Education Centre since 2004. Before this time I worked in various Toronto teaching hospitals. I am the first to welcome you upon your arrival at the office. I will ask to see your health card and fill out the standard office authorization form before you see the Registered Nurse and/or Registered Dietitian. I am in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Friday mornings. Please remember to bring your health card to your appointment. On your subsequent visits to the office I will be downloading your glucometer and making a copy of your logbook readings. For this reason it is helpful that you remember to bring these things with you to every visit.
